Condé Nast Launches Private Ad Exchange

eBay, Macy’s, Sign on For Exclusive Access Through 2011

New York, NY, November 15, 2011 – Condé Nast, home to some of the world’s most iconic  brands, has launched a private ad exchange available only to select advertisers through 2011, it  was announced today by Drew Schutte, EVP, and chief integration officer at Condé Nast.  Inventory from Condé Nast’s entire portfolio of brands will be available at the exchange’s  introduction. Price floors will be set with actual CPMs being determined by real-time bidding.  eBay and Macy’s are confirmed to have ongoing automated access at launch and will be joined  by a few additional, select clients by week’s end. Beginning in 2012, additional advertisers who  have committed to growing their digital investment with Condé Nast will be invited to  participate in the exchange.

Condé Nast’s display inventory is not available through public ad networks, and with the launch  of this private exchange, is the first major magazine publisher to offer such an opportunity to its  advertisers.

“We’re very pleased with the response we’ve received from our clients and believe that the  private exchange will be a win-win for everyone,” said Mr. Schutte. “We’re able to control both  pricing and quality which is important to us, while giving our best clients unique access to our  premium inventory and audience.”

The exchange was developed in conjunction with, and is powered by Admeld.
